Getting Washroom Facilities Right is Vital in Attracting Premium Tenants
For landlords and property managers, it is imperative to present offices in the most appealing light possible. Whilst workspace, meeting facilities, break-out areas and kitchens are all vital, toilet and showers are, all too often, overlooked.
To secure the greatest rent for the ultimate owner of the building, often an investor representing a pension fund or similar, the property manager cannot afford to overlook the washrooms – especially as more staff wish to use showers following a cycle to work or a lunchtime run.
BRAC Projects was, therefore, delighted to be approached by London Fit Out – a specialist office fit out and refurbishment business – to convert the toilet and shower facilities across two floors of a prestigious office block in Knightsbridge before it was let to new tenants.
Working alongside other trades involved in the refurbishment project, we transformed the toilets in keeping with the architect’s design scheme.
The work involved incorporating floor to ceiling cubicles systems to provide total privacy, with colour schemes as specified by the architects.
Individually designed wash troughs, manufactured in Durasein solid surface materials, incorporated purpose-made laminated cupboards underneath to act as both support to the wash trough, as well as storage for towel disposal units.
Seemingly small details, but ones that make all the difference when seeking to attract a premium tenant.
If you’re a main contractor tasked with an office refurb and want to ensure that the toilets and showers stand-out from the crowd, then you need BRAC Projects on your team. Contact us on 01323 870 146 or click here.
