BRAC Projects was appointed to design, manufacture and install a full suite of anti-ligature custodial furniture for an immigration centre — one of the most demanding environments any manufacturer can work in.

Every piece was built from solid grade compact laminate, chosen for its durability and suitability for secure environments. The scope covered beds, desks, storage units, WCs and shower cubicles — a complete fit-out from a single supplier.

Nothing was left to chance on the specification. All furniture met the required anti-ligature standards for custodial and secure environments. Every unit was fixed to walls and floors using secure fixings, with anti-pick mastic applied throughout — including all WC and shower cubicle installations.

When the environment demands zero compromise, the product and the installation have to match that standard. BRAC Projects delivered a complete, compliant fit-out — on spec, to standard, and ready for occupation.
