Our Healthcare Work
At Barnet Hospital, part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, we refurbished the Surgical Admissions Unit — a busy acute setting with over 450 beds. The scope covered IPS ducting, fitted office furniture, nurse bases and refurbishment of the existing reception desk, all completed on programme within a live clinical environment.
At Newham Hospital we delivered IPS panel systems for the ward washrooms, refurbished the nursing stations, installed fitted laminate furniture for patient rooms, and designed and built a bespoke children’s ward reception desk. The project included decorative wall panelling across the ward areas.

What materials are suitable for NHS washroom cubicles and IPS panels?
Solid grade laminate is the standard specification for NHS washroom cubicles and IPS panel systems. It is non-porous, fully waterproof and resistant to the concentrated disinfectant cleaning products used in clinical environments. Standard laminate on an MDF core is not appropriate — the absorbent substrate degrades when repeatedly exposed to clinical cleaning fluids. Solid surface such as Corian is used where a seamless, jointless vanity top is required.
